Henry - also known as Harry - was born on 15 February 1767 in Southwark.

The last of the Thrale full-term pregnancy children, Henrietta was born at Streatham on 21 June 1778. Her godmother was Mrs Elizabeth Montagu. Her mother called her Harriett.

Sophia Thrale: Self portrait of by Prince HoareBorn on 23 July 1771 in Streatham and was Christened on 11 August 1771 at St. Leonard's Church, Streatham. Sophia was also a favourite of Johnson, who called her "dear, sweet, pretty, lovely, delicious Miss Sophy".

Ralph Thrale was born on 8 November 1773 at Streatham. He died on at the Thrale's Brighton home on 13 July 1775 aged twenty months.

Hester and Queeney Thrale: by Sir Joshua ReynoldsHenry and Hester Thrale had 12 children most of which died in childhood. It was speculated by Hester that Jeremiah Crutchley was Henry's illegitimate son. However, modern historians think this unlikely.
