Sarah Thrale was born in Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire 11 August 1805 to her parents Ralph Thrale and Abigail Burchmore. She was baptised on 1 November 1805.
Sarah Thrale inherited her father Ralph Thrale’s engraved goblet and died aged 79 on 8 December 1884 at Cambridge Cottage, Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire.

Sarah Thrale married a carpenter called John Wilshire (1805 - 27 December 1876). Together they had seven children and lived at The Folly in Lower Luton Road, Hertfordshire.
