Thrale’s cafe
There is thought to have once been a Thrale`s Cafe in the Market Place, St Albans. An Italian restaurant now operates from the same premises.
In November 2003 David Thrall reported …
“I had tea here circa 1990, and just missed meeting Norman Thrale, who though very old, still came in every day. I don't think he was the cafe type.
