Road from Thrales End to East Hyde
The road from Thrales End to East Hyde in Hertfordshire passes over a ridge where a farm track provides a pleasant place to stop for lunch.
In this northeasterly view taken in 1989, towards East Hyde, the road drops down between fields into the valley of the River Lea.
The railway line in the distance is the Midland Main Line from St.Pancras.
