Once upon a time there was a handsome Prince called Prince Peter - but Prince Peter wasn’t that handsome. One day Prince Peter was looking for a beautiful Princess.

Luckily, he found one. Her name was Princess Judy. Then a nasty big ugly witch came and stole her from Prince Peter. The witch lived in a gigantic castle in the forest.

The witch used a magic spell to lock-up Princess Judy in a room in the gigantic castle without any stairs or doors.

Princess Judy’s hair grew very, very long. The witch said Princess Judy let your long hair hang out of the window. Then the witch began to climb up Princess Judy’s hair.

When the witch reached the top of Judy’s hair, she climbed in the window and they both sat down and had a little chat. While they chatted, Prince Peter found the gigantic castle in the forest when he was walking nearby.

When the witch and Princess Judy had finished chatting, the witch decided to leave. So the witch said to Princess Judy let your long hair out of the window, so I can go. The witch climbed down long Princess Judy’s hair and went away.

Then Prince Peter called to Princess Judy “Judy leave your long hair right where it is”. Prince Peter began to climb up Princess Judy's long hair. When he reached the top, he climbed through the window and started talking to Princess Judy.

The Prince said “I must take you away from that awful witch”. Then he said, “Come on lets go”. “But we can't both climb down my hair” said Princess Judy. Then she said “Why don't we make a plan?”. “ Yes!”, said Prince Peter.

Prince Peter made a plan. “We could dig our way out with a spoon”. “No!” said Princess Judy. “If you come to see me every night and bring a length of silk with you, I will make it into a length of rope which we can use to escape!”.

Yes!”said Prince Peter, and that is exactly what they did.

They lived happily ever after.

The end.
