February 2002 newsletter
Thrale family tree special!
This newsletter is from Thrale.com - the place for history and genealogy about the Thrale and Thrall families. Major updates on Thrale.com are:
- the largest and most accurate Thrale family tree on the Internet. It includes 800 people, of which over 200 were born Thrale. Also included are three English Kings. I have also managed to work out where I fit into the tree - I am from the Wheathampstead branch and am the 13th great grandson of Robert Thrale (the earliest Thrale on the Thrale family tree);
- details of all the Hertfordshire Thrales in the 1881 English census (including my great grandfather Thomas Thrale);
- all known British and Commonwealth Thrale War Graves;
- more writings and verses of Hester Lynch Thrale;
- drawings of Streatham Place;
- the Thrale motto and a description of the Thrale Coat of Arms;
- an account of very early Thrale history;
- details of 2 new Thrale related books; and
- our account of our holiday in Devon.
Now that I have published the English Thrale family tree, I am very keen to publish more information about our American Thrall cousins. So if anyone out there has a Thrall GEDCOM or other Thrall family history information, I would be very grateful if you could e-mail this to me for inclusion on Thrale.com . I'd also like to hear from anyone who knows anything about William Thrall who sailed from England to America on the Mary and John - this is the most frequently asked question I get.
Thanks to everyone who has sent me an e-mail or signed the guest book, it makes all the hard work on the web site worthwhile. Keep in touch.
