On April 12, 1822 an accounting showed he had received the shares of Homer Thrall, Orlando Thrall, Linus G Thrall and Aaron Thrall and invested in land in the county of Granger ($3 an acre) State of Ohio in Range Seven, in the Sixth Township. The address of William Mead at that time was Granville, County of Licking, State of Ohio. The above land in Ohio was purchased sometime in July 1815.
