  Notes	Like his father William B learnt the printing trade before he left Vermont. It is possible that he worked with his father in Circleville, Ohio in 1819 in the printing business. Later he formed a partnership and produced a newspaper called the Circleville Herald. He move to Columbus Ohio and became publisher of the ohio State Journal. He was a thirty-third degree Mason and Grand master of Ohio. He served as treasurer of the state of Ohio for several years. He was a tall robust man with a dominating personality.
