I have some family info which I think may be of interest to you, if it is correct but it can be checked out.
Elizabeth and George Smith were the children of Sir Francis Smith and Lady Mary Moreton.
Elizabeth married a Thomas Thrale (1523 ? 1603) in 1557 in Sandridge. His parents may have been Robert and Jane Thrale.
George Smith?s great grand daughter Ann married Roger Thrall (1690) in 1720 in Mansfield. As this is a few generations apart it may be that they were keeping the money in the family.
