David,
I just came across your Thrale Family history and found it very helpful in filling in some blanks on my family tree. In particular, the marriage between Polly Thrall and Solomon Mead - the Mead family being a very important element of our Stark genealogy. There are at least three marriages of the Mead and Stark families.
In my records, Solomon Mead's death is documented as 23 Mar 1823. The source of my information is a great grandson of Solomon, his name being Henry Mead Hammond.
The first child of the union of Solomon and Polly Thrall - the one you show as Helen, a female, I believe to actually be Helon, a male. I state this because our records have a Helon marrying a Martha Edgerton Stark (my 2g grandfather's sister). The Stark and Mead families both resided in the area of Rutland, Vermont as did your Thrall family. And, by further coincidence, both families moved to Niagara County, New York (Royalton and Lockport), and then into the state of Michigan by 1840.
Are you aware if any Thrall descendants relocated to Michigan? If so, I have some fairly good sources to get added information.
Returning to the name of Helon. One must believe that folks held Helon Mead in great admiration, for there are two Helon Mead Stark men in my family, my gr-grandfather and one of his sons.
If there are issues in the Mead family that I might help you with, please let me know.
Respectfully,
Tim Stark
