Rachel Abrahams or Abrahamson married Wolf Eifer and had a daughter Gertie Eifer in either 1912 or 1914. After Wolf's death she remarried in 1929 to Maurice Alfred Cohen (Micheal Carr). She wound have one more daughter Jacqueline B. Cohen born December 12th 1930. They would separate but not divorce sometime in the 1930s. Rachel began going by Regina Carr by the Second World War. She died on June 22 1961 at age 70 or 72 as there is some confusion as to whether she was born in 1888 or 1890. Jacqueline is my grandmother.

Rachel, daughter of Joseph Abrahams 1852-1928 and Rebecca Koski 1852-1934. She married a Russian immigrant Wolf Eifer a member of the Mennonite community of Odessa Russia.

Rachel, daughter of Joseph Abrahams 1852-1928 and Rebecca Koski 1852-1934. She married a Russian immigrant Wolf Eifer a member of the Mennonite community of Odessa Russia. She had a daughter Gertie Eifer born on November 29, 1912. Wolf Eifer died some time prior to June 8 1922 when Rachel was re naturalized as a UK citizen. She later married Maurice Alfred Cohen in February 1929. They had one daughter before separating, Jacqueline Beresford Cohen. Rachel would die on June 22 1961 in London and was going by the name Regina Carr by that time. The name change the result of the fact that Maurice had legally changed his name to Michael Carr.
